I’m Emma Kallok, a Black feminist writer, reader, and curator of things.

I write about the societal constructs (and lived experiences!) of race, gender, and class—to name a few of the issues we’ll dive into here—and am interested in how we get free. I may not have any answers, but I ask incredible questions. I am endlessly curious about the world and the people in it.

What is The Find?

The Find is a biweekly exploration of the aforementioned issues, plus curated recommendations of cool content I’m into, primarily featuring the work of Black, Indigenous, and/or women of color.

Oriented toward those of us who desire societal and systemic change, The Find is all about questioning the status quo and having fun while doing it. The fun is essential.
